some mysteries are solved

while hiding eggs for the kids I saw some of these. good think I didnt pull up that "grassy
stuff. it was these handsome little grape hyacinths. I have an area with one or two and then an area with a clump of them. so so cute. I will have to separate and put them where I want.

and I saw some of these getting ready to bloom......
I think it is time for me to get this bed ready and weeded.
I will work around what is there and mulch it.
wonder what other surprises are in that pile of dirt?

I love grape hyacinths! They spread nicely, too. =)

Catching up after a weekend away. These pics reminded me not to pull up anything as I look and wonder just what this or that is!

I love grape hyacinth and tulips too but my dogs laid all over them and killed them so none for me. I guess they were nice and cushy. We had a very quiet Easter but your celebration looks like loads of fun and the weather was cooperative too.
