Pets on Quilts

Here is Dunkin on his quilt. He kept stealing Phoebe's so I made him
his own.  He LOVES it
or does he??????
after all it is warmer than being outside in the
Dunkin Donut dumpster where we found him
(hence his name......he was a wee little guy just 7 weeks old)

Hmmm....... let's check out Phoebe's quilt.
maybe hers is softer...........
she is older and "wiser" and her quilt has been washed and loved

she "chose" this quilt 3 times when we made quilts for the nursing home one year.
every time I packaged them up, she took this one out of the box and slept with it.
I guess she wanted it and of course being a spoiled rescue cat, she got it!

A quilt is always better if you share it........
Move over Phoebe.......

Dunkin, quit hogging the covers! Don't touch me. just go to sleep!
just like kids! always bickering.....

and so it goes.......... My poor Phoebe HAD a quilt.....
Dunkin hogs them all!

go and check out all the pets on quilts at Lily Pad Quilting

and Dunkin and Phoebe are in the category
"cat or kitten on Quilt"

there will be voting involved later on...... just sayin!

come join the fun and see all the cute pets and cute quilts!
oh, and join the Padsworth Project by sewing up
some UFOs and scraps into mats for shelter pets to sleep on.
everyone wins! You use up some stash and the pets get to feel some quilty love

what are you waiting for?
go check it out!

  3. All pets deserve to be spoiled, but I think rescue pets need just a little extra. Looks like you've done a great job spoiling them with those cute quilts...love it!

  20. Dunkin is one handsome cat! Mine cat kids do not share well - everything Zoey has Colby has to take from her.
