after ironing I played in my room

it was Tues
and I had ironing up the ying yang
yeah a real exciting night ahead of me right?

well, I ironed what I needed to
then saw a pretty yellow floral ten inch square
and decided to play

I ironed it in half
then in half the other way
then turned over and ironed the points to the center
picked out 8- 2 1/2 inch squares
and placed them in a pleasing manner
then I overlapped the yellow one and stitched
stitched them to the center area
added a button
added a back
and stuffed it

WAY more fun than ironing!
and I think it is kind of cute for a pincushion!

  4. I made a very similar one yesterday (still needs the side seam closed and button(s) but the method I used sounds different. Mine finished at 4" square. Love yours!
