this time I had a little more of that pretty
blue and yellow fabric that is in one of the pieces
to quote Collette of whataboutrheema
"try something out of your comfort zone"
Ok I said......you can do this......
so I squared up the inner patch to 11 inches
and then on my mat put it up against a diagonal
to figure out how big of a square I could do
to get the measurement I needed for outside triangles
Yeah, I was sweating it
so much so I had to change shirts to go to work
(ok , I DID change shirts but not for that reason. it just
sounded so much better . hee hee)
and I sewed the triangles on the edges
I LIKE IT
it is NOT perfect
but it is likeable
and that is all that matters
this one may have to stay with me.
we will see.....
thanks Collette for the PUSH
I even THREW STUFF AWAY!!!!!
and my good friend Jackie can attest
THAT IS SOMETHING I NORMALLY
to new beginnings...........
(raising my glass of orange juice to you all in blogland-
hey I dont have any champagne to put in it
to make a mimosa so we can pretend right?)
what NEW thing have YOU tried today?
