scrappy goals

hoping that as soon as the reunion is over I can get back
to sewing these scraps
I am loving the scrappy look of them and it is fun
to "tumble"  in this little stack of 8 to a row
I was trying to do a light then a dark and alternate them
it isnt as easy as you think
because the tumblers go different ways
these little guys are made of 2 1/2 inch squares
I sew them two by two then four by four etc
I figured that way the rows could be separated to
separate the colors

and this quilt is missing me too.
I have Jan-Feb and Mar done
April was started and I am not sure if I finished
Dunkin is inspecting all those
circles LOL

I was doing Jan blue background,
Feb pink, Mar  purple
following the RSC16 colors

here is Jan-Feb Mar

then I think April was orange and May was green
June is aqua

I have not started May or June and July will be here soon
so I have lots of catching up to do on this one too!

here was the start of April
my plan is to make the left side Jan-Feb-Mar
the right side Apr-May-June
and fill in to make sure the rows match
it will make a large quilt for sure
those background squares are 5 inches
finishing at 4 1/2
so 14 rows down by 14 across with the other half
would be about 63x63 when done without any kind of border

then on the back I was going to do the same with July Aug Sept
and Oct Nov Dec
to make it reversible and the whole year in one quilt
we will see how I do
