plenty of wild animals around

does this look like a wild animal to you?
yeah.........
Dont mind the awful rug with the stains that dont come out
we will be ripping it up and putting in new floors

but those blocks........

yeah squirrels!!!!!
taking my time away from what I SHOULD be
working on.......

you see.......I have NO willpower
AT ALL

yeah you have seen these hips havent you?
now you get the picture.

my friend Jacky sent me a bag of scraps
some were strips already cut out

how can I NOT play?
so I grabbed some 3 1/2 inch red squares I had
and pulled 1 1/2 inch strips of lights and darks
and in one hour I had
these done........
also have one that needs one more dark strip but ran out of a bobbin.
time to wind a bunch again. hee hee
so had to stop for now......

not sure if this will be the size I go with or if I will have
more rows but I am happy with the look so far
any wild animals at your house?

  3. oh yea, pretty much my whole quilting career has been filled with wild animals, that is why I now have so many unfinished projects, but it is fun

  4. I know what you mean about those squirrel projects. That's the main reason why I have so many WIPs and UFOs. And I feel another one coming on right after I get done with the elephant quilt.

  5. I have no will power when I receive a bag of scraps either. There is usually too many tempting ideas! Thanks for sharing with Oh Scrap!
