Day three and a project done

'

now this is the start of a little mugrug
yep take some orange tiny slabs about 3 or 4 inches
add some background squares sewn on
to make it round
make a stem
(you can see mine isnt perfect.......what pumpkin is?)
I still love it
I added some black for the sides and more oranges
and see that huge piece to the right?
yeah

the orange zigzag
I want to use that for binding to use it up
so.......I cut it in half
and in half again
and I will do  single binding
so it will remind me to keep the size of my
mugrug small so it will fit

backing and batting are chosen

and lookie here! more "starter" for the orange slabs
to come LOL

then I quilted this up and made the curves of the
pumpkin
and wavy lines
and pencil width lines and then trimmed it
to a good size

bound it all up
lookie how purty she is!

DAY THREE AND PROJECT ONE DONE
A CUTE FALL MUGRUG

you COULD put a face on your pumpkin with
some black scraps and iron on

just sayin...........

How is your orange slabbing coming????

one more project in my gift box

does it count if it is a gift for ME???? haha
