slabbing part two.....wash rinse repeat

I continued with my scraps
cutting down the ends to fit what I needed
and guess what
those little pieces
go nicely together
for the start of another piece

see how tiny?  compared to my finger
yeah
I keep them only if I sew them up right then and there

( Dont fib Jacky- I DO NOT keep pieces under
an inch........no I dont.....and I dont steal them
either..hee hee.)
but
if
make
them
myself
I just may be known to sew them into another slab

see?

and this is what I ended up with
so so cute and different sizes and shapes

some short and fat (like me)
some tall and pretty (like you)
but all will play nice in this little project

letting this one sit for a bit while I decide on background fabric
are you playing yet???

AND HERE IS A RECIPE FROM JULIEROSE

GO CHECK OUT HER COOL SLABS.....
OMG  I love them.........the kitties.........oh yeah......check them out

but first, make this pumpkin cake recipe
so that you can have a snack after you make YOUR orange slabs......

Here's my favorite S U P E R  E A S Y pumpkin cake recipe.

1 box spice cake mix (18oz)     1/2c. water
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding     1 c. pumpkin
3 eggs                                         1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup cooking oil                       1/2 c. pecans (optional)

Add all ingredients in 1 large bowl. Beat for 2 minutes.
Pour into large Bundt pan. Bake 45-55 minutes at 350.
Let cool for 25 minutes, turn out onto cake plate (frost if
desired, but I serve it as is) Yummies!!

hugs, Julierose
