the wedding


these two are married for the first time.
both are in their 50s and we could not be happier for them

psssss and girls
she is a QUILTER

they did a low key casual wedding
with a pig roast reception and it was awesome



both his parents are gone and they would
have been so happy for him
her parents are both still alive and were there
funny story,......the bride said to us.......
you know how I met Kevin? he used to deliver wood
to our house when he was 18 and my mom
used to say too bad he is too old. he is such a nice guy
(Kathy was only 14 at the time LOL)
funny how things work out isnt it?

since our reunion last year

a great time was had
I didnt get to dance
but I had a ball!

next wedding is the nieces in Oct
whew!

  4. What a wonderful story! I have a similar story with my brother and his wife. Neither ever married before; the families knew each other, but these two were not particularly close, as Mark was "older" than Ann. The bump into each other at a tailgate party, start talking. Dated for a year, got married at age 40 for her, 46 for him. Now they have twin 9-year-olds and are happy as clams. Wish those newlyweds all the happiness in the world!!
