Santas elves

I have one more of these to tie and finish
Where are Santa's elves when you need them

They are for the grandkids
Along with giftcards

This year I am buckling

I like the idea of getting the kiddos something to open
And it is fun to shop or make something
Special to their personalities

But as they get older it gets harder to get them a gift
And the cost of mailing is getting nuts

So the gift card will be the easy way out for me especially the grands

With 7 grandkids and 5 nieces and 4 siblings the list keeps growing

My siblings and I exchange little fun things to say Merry Christmas
Two of my brothers are getting bear and deer theme again for the hunting cabin in Maine

My sister hasnt spoken to me in 5 years since I moved out of her apartment and bought a home.
Funny.....I would have been happy for her had the tables been turned

But.....in the mail I received a Christmas card from her
I think my Dad's health had a lot to do with it but I will take it
I miss my sister
She is the only one I have

Maybe there really is peace on earth if you wish hard enough

Hopefully family comes together at Christmas time...being an only child, I was very close to my cousin, Jeannette, who was just 9 months younger than I (my Aunt decided she needed a girl lol)--I miss her dearly all the time, but especially at Holiday Season...
Hugs, Julierose

Yeah the older they get the harder it is to buy for them. Take your sister's card as a blessing and reach out.

That sounds like a nice Christmas story! I hope you all get together and get close again. I hope your dad feels better too!
