A little sewing going on

I felt like sewing 

So pulled a tin

Its like a surprise to see whats in there lol

These little 5 inch string blocks

Fun! Strings are all over the place right now

And i have a ton of them

I cut up my batting pieces

Into 5 inch squares

I gather 5 inch squares of fabric

For the back

Then i piece on top the strings

Sew and flip

Quilt as you go style

Some of these 5 inch charms probably 

Should have stayed in Vegas 

Lol

Then i sew close to the edge

About 1/8 inch in to

Staystitch them

Then flip and trim to batting and backing

Cute little blocks to play with 

Charms left to use up

Quite a little stack going

Batting ready to go

Charms 

I will sew them with strips

Later once i know what i want

To make with these

I am thinking a quilted bag to carry groceries

We will see

Then i set this day of play

Together 

And added strips 

Yep a bag me thinks....
