sashay scarf

this is the ruffly scarf pattern I was talking about. Not mine, but from the internet.
mine is greens and beiges and pretty
the yarn is like a mesh ribbon that you  use to knit or crochet. I crocheted mine.
used one skein and you only need to do like 4 stitches to make a decent length scarf.
once you get the hang of it, it works up pretty fast.
I think I paid around $5 for the skein of yarn. not a bad price for a pretty scarf, you think?
anyone else make these?
was wondering if the knit version was just as easy......
I think I bought a blue and gray? version but have not come across the yarn yet. (another obsession besides quilting, right? us crafty people like all kinds of creative outlets, or at least I do.)
had a picture we loved for the living room........BUT the frame was I grabbed my handy dandy paint kit and pulled out black acrylic paint and in about an hour changed it from ugly into WOW that looks great !
see? crafty is a good thing.........

Yup, crafty is definitely good. Cute scarf--I used to knit like crazee, but my rotary cuff injury put an end to that--and so, onto quilting and some redwork embroidery...have a great weekend hugs, Julierose
