my weekend was busy

I spent the weekend helping my sister in law make these
she got donations and we made 13 raffle baskets
for a great cause
a relative of hers has a baby with Zelweigers syndrome (?)
and wont live to see one
it affects your brain and kidney functions
she was born in May and is still in the hospital

this is to help bring her home
and defray medical costs
so her family can spend time with her
it is their first child and is so sad
she has so many issues

I was glad to take time out of my weekend to help
next weekend we go to the fundraiser dinner
what did you do this weekend?

Oh that is so very sad. The raffle baskets look lovely. Hope they raise everything they need at their fundraiser dinner.

Oh I agree--that is so sad and doesn't seem fair.... but you must feel good having helped out. Lovely baskets--you are so talented....hugs, Julierose (saying a little prayer for le petite)

I'm so sorry to hear about this little baby. Many years ago (25?), I had a little cousin born with Zellweger syndrome. She passed away when she was only 23 days old. I hope the fundraiser brings in a lot of money, so that she can come home and be with the people who love her the most.
