relaxing robin fun

this is where I am at with my new robin

and where I am at with the older robin
I am pleased with both versions
they will make some nice lap quilts for the cold winter ahead
Yes, I am thinking positive that I will finish them soon

(a gal can dream can't she?)
I started this because I found a bunch of those dresdans
that are pink and blue
and I wanted to "lose" the pink and blue theme
I think the yellow and gray in the first one does that nicely

the second one kind of has the blue theme still going on
but that is ok.
these poor blocks needed to be useful and loved and I think I have accomplished that

how is your robin coming?
link up and show us.........we wanna see!

Oh no, I'm gonna miss this one too. I'm away from home until next weekend -- no photos so no blogpost! Bummer! said...

No robin sewing but I do like the gray.

I love those black strips on your robins--they just make all the colors pop out and not mush together. I have a LOT of trouble with that "mushing" thing as I use SO MANY fabrics at once [sigh]. Beautiful day today--just a bit windy and colder...hugs, Julierose

WM had some photos on his camera, some more were on previous posts and DD loaned me her laptop so this is a family collaboration!
