new beginnings

now that a project is finished, I am wondering what to work on next
do I grab this fun project and get busy again?

I KNOW I have TONS more of these to make

do I try and find this and finish up another purse for the Christmas box?
I wanted to make this for the yard sale
and cut out this one and one in yellows and oranges

or do I sit down with a nice hot cuppa tea and look
through seed and plant catalogs
and plan next years summer beauty????

decisions. decisions..........

When I finish a project, I go through a stage of "after Christmas let down." Its like I don't know what to do with myself. It's not that I don't have enough fabric, or ideas to begin a new project. Far from it. After a few days it wears off and I get excited again about about a project. I vote you look at flowers and plan your garden. =)

I agree with Amy--after projects (in your case so many!!)/Christmas letdown--relax and peruse those catalogues..and dream of warmer Spring weather to come. Oh and those pix in them with all the pretty colors may inspire what you choose...hugs, Julierose said...

I am right there with Amy. I have a pile of seed and tree catalogs too! Those are the promises of an abundant summer in my mind.

garden, can't wait to get our plants in the ground again. Hope we don't have to much snow before then

That sounds like me exactly! It was such a rush to get everything done for Christmas and now I do not know where to go. I definitely need to organize before I can start anything, maybe after I do that I will have a better idea what to start on. I would relax and enjoy dreaming about your garden plans!

As far as sewing projects go, I just do whatever takes my fancy at the time!
