my system if you can call it that

over the holidays we got some Russell Stovers
in this adorable Christmas tin
after eating them all  (my hips say thanks)
I repurposed the tin to hold my 2 1/2 inch squares
for a place to put them neatly
and it works for what I need

see? nice and neat
what's that you say?
yeah, I also have some 16 patches in there

you know how it is.......
I cant see those cute little squares just sitting there
I HAD to see them made into squares
just to see how they all play nicely together
I have some squares cut, some 2x2  and 2x4 patches done
and 7  16 patches done
another UFO in the works

hopefully this one won't stay a UFO for long. so far
it has kept my interest
so we will see how far I get
what are YOU sewing?

So far I'm managing to ignore all my cut and stored square in favour of UFOs being finished! Except for RSC scraps which somehow went from nothing to twenty twelve inch blocks (enough for a flimsy) in January! Then there was the table runner I basted, quilted and bound. Of course, my output could never match yours despite the fact that you are employed outside the home and I've been at home on summer break, sewing almost every day! said...

Must stay focused and not start anything new until I finish something!

Lovely tin to repurpose for holding litlle bits.

I am going to whittle down all my fat quarters in pink this year! Cutting strips today--at least one from each and then doing the sew-end-to-end bit and try to do a landscape strippy...we'll see....not much in the mood what with recent sad events....but doing anyway...hugs, Julierose
