I'm so excited.....and I just cant hide it

lookie what I have been up to.
yep I got the courage to cut up the deer panel
and do the attic windows quilt
I just need to find some black for the small sashing
and then finish the rows

sorry the pic isnt the greatest but I didnt want to
take the chance of the cats getting the blocks out of order
this is one of THOSE quilts LOL
BUT I AM IN LOVE...........
LOOK at that cute deer looking in the window.....
how sweet is that?
I think my brothers will approve!

so while I wait to find black.........ughhhhhhh
I cut and sewed up a few chapstick keychain starts
for our reunion prizes
hopefully before the storm hits us I can make it to the store and
get the D rings so I will have a project to do while it storms

and this is for my friend Jackie
she is always wondering why I pick little pieces of fabrics out of
her trash LOL
I cut these off the corners of the deer quilt
and I have THREE of them to make
so I will then take all this little guys
and make something sweet

see how tiny Jackie????
I will probably have to square them up to an inch
this one was a little bigger than most

Wow that it turning out great. I keep scraps too, unless they are smaller than 1 inch, those go into pet beds. OK it takes me about 1 year to fill a pet bed.

The windowed deer panel is looking real good! I only keep to a 1.5" unless they are skinny strips for string blocks.
