see it is pretty red

after about fifteen tries this pic FINALLY came thru.
as you can see not the best but you can at least see what I did
I sewed the dresdan blades to make the center
they are about 10 inches or so long
then I added a red border Christmas fabric
it has words on it like Joy to the World
Merry Christmas etc on it and is not being done justice in this photo
and I did quilting around each blade
and for the ends and sides I did some wavy quilting
now to find a red stripe to make a candy cane binding......
or I just may use the same fab as the border
we will see
I have time to figure it out
this was a "freebie" type project
that just happened while I was cleaning
who can clean when you have fabric to sew? LOL
I found the red blades
sat for 5 min and sewed them
the next day I found the Christmas fabric
I bordered it
this morning I batted and backed it with the same fabric
and stitched (was almost late for work LOL)
but at least i started out my day right ha ha
who knows what tomorrow will bring......
