another ufo bites the dust

this table runner was left because it was mine
all I needed was the binding put on
and I had the perfect stripe thanks to my eagle eye friend Jacky
so yesterday I cut out the binding on the bias
did I do it my usual way?
um no

see the close up? yeah going different ways. gggggggrrrrrrrrrrr
next time dont try new things
if it aint broke dont fix it LOL
anywho, it is still purty
and will look nice on my holiday table
and was ufo 4 on my list
not too bad

I love me some candy cane stripes
dont you?
anyway I am early (not behind)
for Christmas LOL

and these have been growing too
I had 12
and now have 15
I am running out of saturated
colors so may need to gasp
cut up some 2 1/2 inch squares
I think I need some purples in here
and maybe different shades of blues
but I am still liking it

this one is still mulling around
waiting for its moment to shine

that Jenny tempted me
and yeah I got the 2 yd piece of kona solid
for 6 bucks
I had some quilters cash to bring the cost down
even more
maybe it will be background fabric
for these to turn into stars with all
the colors
I know of a baby shower that will be
coming up and the mama loves color
so we will see........
how are  you doing with your goals?

Your runner is very festive. The binding is super even though you consider it an Oops of sorts.

The colorful blocks will make a nice and happy baby quilt.
