clean up clean up everybody clean up

whoot whoot!

I made 11 of these blocks in an hour and took half hour to
trim them up

lots of small pieces cleared out
some are cutoffs from other sewing
or binding  or trimming the quilted quilt

I just power sew them until they are a little
bigger than the 8 inches and then trim
them to 8x8

easy peasy sewing
and as you can see productive

this quilt already has almost 3 rows done (1 block shy)
and then there will be another row and 4 more blocks

I figure it will be about halfway done
I thought 8 inch blocks
6 in a row8 rows

now I can shut that container again and start
saving scraps

notice the changing of the colors of scraps LOL
can you tell I was working on purple and pink
for the last part?
I should have probably not joined the rows until the blocks were done
but I am not worried

this will be a utility quilt
for those fun picnics etc.
it will not win any prizes for beauty
but will surely be warm and loved

Oooh, love these "slabs" of colors--this will become your "favorite" go-to quilt I am sure.
I began sewing twosies like this a few weeks ago on a "fun" sewing day...hmmm you are making go and look for them right now!! Hugs, Julierose
