hey Mr Postman

I kept thinking of the song
Wait a minute Mr Postman
Please Mr Postman look and see
if there's a letter in your bag for me.........

this is the start of the postage stamp block
I thought well I sure do have a ton of 1 1/2 inch
strips I can cut into my blocks
and I was right
I sewed 2 x 2
4 x 4
then added a 2x2 and a row was done

wash rinse repeat
and two rows were done

before you know it I had the whole block done

and look at this little surprise
a deer sneaking up on the garden
yeah..........little booger!
this block went quickly together
for those of you who are intimidated by
all the small pieces
I am happy and into the farmgirl tin you go!

whoot whoot!
another thing crossed off my May to do list!

(ah hem, Colette, did you happen to be the one
who mentioned the deer quilt? )LOL

or was that YOU Jacky????

I admit that I have left the postage stamp block for last this month. I'm inspired to tackle it after seeing yours :)
