any ideas for a border?

I know.........borders can be tough

I would like to turn this into a wheelchair top
it has a dark almost forest green color and some
rusty red and golds and browns in it
and I think a blue too
should I get solids?
try and mimic one of the inner borders?
turn it on point again?
what would YOU do?
it measures about 18  inches now  give or take

My friend and yours, Jacky, is making some
pouches kinda like these only hers close with a flap
so you can carry in your purse
for teabags
or equal sugar packets

aren't they the cutest?

and don't be calling the ASPCA on me
if Dunkin insists on going into my sewing room
he may as well be useful

his quarter inch seam is impeccable!  lol

Good luck with the borders on the panel! I love panels but always have a hard time coming up with the borders! My Maggie cat is the supervisor in my sewing room! I have a bed under the sewing table she sleeps in! We call it "going to work" when I go in to sew! She loves hanging out in there!

That is a pretty piece, but I would use it as a pillow front instead.

The panel is very pretty but I am having a hard time visualizing in a wheelchair quilt...sorry I'm no help.

Jacky's pouches are a great idea. Hope you share photos when she is finished with them.

Jacky's pouches are a great idea. I never thought about them for those of us that carry sweetener....cause we aren't sweet enough already. I think simple patchwork squares around the edge in the colors.

Love the pouches! Such a great idea. Do you really need a border? Looks great as is.
