Making things in my sewing room

What do you do when you
Are in between projects
You just dont know what you feel like
Kinda like dinner.....I dont feel like
Meatloaf or soup and a sandwich
I need something NEW

I GRABBED some pieces
Of fabric and kinda coordinated them

Found batting scrap and sewed
Them on
Chose a back  quilted it
And a mugrug was

Intetesting enough I also found out
When you switch sewing machines mid project
See this little hump?
It was making my seams off
And i thought it was me
That's my story an I am stickin to it

See here how much higher it is....
Not good
Now that I know...
You learn something every day

Here is one I know you wanted to see
Borders are on.
Not enough orange for back
So will sit a bit till I decide
I found more orange fabric
And it fits PERFECTLY

A cool challenge....

Remember these little strips?

These are from Sharon of vroomansquilts

Found a matching strip

And a doll quilt was born
Now to make a cute doll
For a reunion prize

This was waiting patiently
And when I had half an hour
To kill before brothers party
I Stitched it up
Used another fabric in greens from the

This is the other side
Scrappy and ready to be used

Into the reunion bucket you go
My pretty
What's going on in your sewing room?
