Olafs progression

Olaf has progressed  a little and maybe I
Should start thinking about the layout
To know what type of block I need
To finish the top

Pictures help with likes and dislikes
And that is good

It really helps you see
Before you sew and regret

See the first pic?
I like where that log cabin block is located

The pic with it in the corner......not so much

The greens will also have to be seperated more

I think about 5 more blocks will do it

Maybe I will play with some hst and see what I can come up with

In the meantime this broken handle cup
Needs to be a mugrug for me
Just because

What are you making?

this weekend will be cleaning as we have company coming for Sunday dinner--so most likely no sewing for a bit--a little respite--migraine still hanging on a bit so good I won't be tempted to do close work anyway.
I love how Olaf is coming together..I especially like that block of squares with the light brown in it,,,
Enjoy your rainy day sewing hugs, Julierose

I love your Olaf! Lovely mix of blues and blocks that compliment that panel so well. I am gearing up for a weekend long session of quilting and antique quilt. said...

Looking cute. OK you said you were making a cup for your broken handled cup. Um looking at your mug rug it looks like your handle is broken there too. Poor girl. Sending prayers and big hugs your way. I got roped in to help the church at their fall festival......pray for me.

Olaf is coming along nicely! I love the blocks set around the center. I'm hand sewing some hexagons and hoping to do a little machine quilting. Work starts at 6:30 now so I poop out early. Starting next month, my shift starts at 6am! I'm not looking forward to that at all!
